I posted roommate ads at Dietrich's (two of the three) and at Cafe Artiste. I'm searching for a roommate to split the $325/mo. all bills paid (your share will be $162.50/mo.) rent on my 20'x25' downtown Houston art space. The location is about four blocks south of George R. Brown at Lamar and Dowling. The room is on the fourth floor of a music studio. The fourth floor is more focused on the visual and performance arts. I have unrestricted access to DSL via a router for $7/mo. The neighbors are nice and outgoing. Beginning dance classes across the hall run $5 per lesson. There is a final Saturday drumming circle in one of the rooms. Anyone interested?

My girlfriend doesn't want me to have a roommate. She insists on me not having a female roommate. Are you a girl?

well i am a girl. but i'm a girl who would never try to cause problems like that. a girl who desperately needs a place to live and would never cause problems between roommate and roommate's girlfriend. i swear. really really.

I spoke with my neighbor James. You might be able to split a 20'x60' with his brother, John. The cost would be $575/2 (all bills paid). James would be my roommate. But first we would have to meet you to see how personality types will mesh.

I will try to arrange a meeting. I am working two shifts tomorrow at Salad Express in Clear Lake. Wednesday, I am celebrating my birthday (which is tomorrow). Thursday, I am working a double at S.E. Friday and Saturday, I will be in Louisiana and Mississippi getting Burgundy's (my girlfriend's 7 y.o. daughter) ears pierced and visiting her relatives. Call me tonight before 1 AM, between 10:30 PM and 1 AM on Tuesday or any time during the day on Sunday. Lately, I've had Wednesday's off, so that would be a good choice if we wanted to meet up during the day. I will be back downtown before 11 PM tongiht.

Oh yeah. There will be a pisces party at The Flying Saucer on Saturday night. Brian Farley will use his 200th beer reward to buy $100 worth of beer for us. If your not 21 it might be a little tricky. Though Brian and John - both are my ex-roommates - have brought minors in before.
